Fields of interest :
General objective is to develop an enhanced and sustainable surveillance system for the detection of food borne outbreaks in Jordan . The specific objectives are to (1) establish laboratory-based surveillance systems of Salmonellosis based on networks of sentinel microbiological laboratories in Jordan, (2) enhance laboratory capabilities to identify Salmonella spp at the level of sentinel labs, (3) strengthen existing capabilities and develop new ones for characterization of Salmonella spp using phenotypic and genotypic markers at the level of reference laboratories and
(4) Monitoring of antimicrobial resistance among Salmonella isolates.
Curriculum:
Holder of Ph.D in microbiology from National medical university named after O.O Bogomolets in 1997 Kiev/Ukraine Recruited at MOH CPHL in 2001.Member of the Jordanian society for medical laboratories.
