Fields of interest:
The main objective of the laboratory of microbiology and molecular biology is the
biochemical and molecular characterization of the enteropathogenes isolated from
humans and food, as well as the survey of the resistance to the antibiotic and the
characterization of the genes implied in this resistance. The properties of adherence
and biofilm formation of the enteropathogenes mutiresistantes are also developed.
Curriculum:
Holder of a doctoctat in Microbiology of the University of Sciences and Technology of Lille (France in 1991) . Recruited at the Pasteur Institute as a researcher since 1993. Member of Moroccan Society of Genetics and Molecular Biology since 1996 and member of the Moroccan Association of Microbiology created in 2005 .
Intersted at the beginning with the genetics of the nematodes and antibiotic resistance in Mycobactérium.
Since 2002 our laboratory is interested in studying Salmonella charcterization in food an human sample using molecular tools
Our laboratory accomodates students coming from different unversities of the kingdom for the preparation of their thesis or master.
Our laboratory works in collaboration with the university of sassari " Medical department of sciences " and with unit of the emergent pathogenic bacteria of the Pasteur Institute of Paris.
